Mountsorrel climbs from the Soar towards the old granite quarry - so many gardens have awkward levels, steep rear plots or retaining walls that need careful design. Clay still underlies a lot of the village; combine that with slopes and you get water running the wrong way unless falls and drainage are planned properly. We survey levels on every visit and build patios on robust sub-bases so paving doesn't fail within a few winters.

Property types range from terraced streets near the high street to larger family homes on the edges towards Quorn and Rothley.
